Description:
In this role as an Imaging Team Leader you will be responsible for maintaining continuity in the day-to-day operations of the General Procedures section of the Department of Radiology. As well as act as a resource person to the other technologists.
Essential Job Functions:
- Maintaining inventory levels and fill out proper ordering forms to submit to the manager for ordering in a timely manner.
- Keeping department clean and inspection ready at all times.
- Meeting regularly with the manager to discuss problems or suggestions for improving procedures and patient through-put.
- Perform general x-ray procedures to demonstrate sectional anatomic images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner.
- The technologist will provide appropriate patient care and recognize patient’s conditions essential for successful completion of the procedures.
- The services are provided in accordance with industry standards, department protocols and hospital policies and procedures.
- Current registry by ARRT
- Current IEMA license
- CPR and BLS training required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Satisfactory completion of formal Radiography training program through an accredited school
- 3 years Radiography experience
- Effective communication skills and excellent patient care skills required
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Handle high pressure, fast paced work environment
