Key Responsibilities:
● Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service while operating as a cashier and assisting customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Promote any ongoing or new promotions/events that may be occurring and make customers feel welcomed
● Food Preparation and Cooking
- Skillfully scoop Ice Cream, prepare drink orders, and craft croffles according to SMOOVE Ice
Cream's quality standards
- Prepare tapioca (boba pearls) ensuring consistency in taste and texture
- Prepare the tea, milk tea, etc. to be used to make beverages
- Cooking the croffles and making sure they are cooked through to be served
● Hygiene and Cleanliness
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, regularly sanitize equipment, and adhere to strict hygiene standards
- Wash and sanitize work stations as well as hands properly
- Properly dispose of trash, ensure recycling protocols are followed, and maintain cleanliness in waste disposal areas.
- ● Compliance
- Adhere to all employee handbook protocols, employee regulations, and comply with state and federal laws related to food sanitation, recycling, trash disposal, etc.
● Team Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer experiences
Skills and Qualifications:
While previous experience in a similar role or the food industry is preferred, it is not mandatory.
● Multi-tasking: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
● Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure consistency in food preparation and cleanliness
● Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members
● Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and responsibilities as needed
● Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with state and federal laws related to food sanitation, recycling, and waste management is a plus
● Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.42 - $22.18 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
