Job Description
AMERICAN SYSTEMS wants YOU to join our team of ICBM engineers, test analysts, and cybersecurity professionals as our next ICBM Suitability Analyst with missile maintenance experience to support operational testing of the LGM-35A Sentinel weapon system at Hill AFB, UT. This position supports the Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center's (AFOTEC) ICBM Operational Test & Evaluation Team. As a ICBM Suitability Analyst you will:
- Provide critical support in protecting our country
- Develop test designs and plans for operational testing and reporting on the reliability, maintainability, and availability of ICBM Systems
- Evaluate advanced ICBM mechanical systems, missile and payload handling equipment, and booster/payload transportation/emplacement capabilities

A week in the life of an ICBM Suitability Analyst:
- Provide analytical and subject matter expertise to the AFOTEC ICBM Test & Evaluation Team
- Translate military users needs from acquisition program requirements to testable metrics
- Participate in Integrated Test Teams and engage program policies, developers, subject matter experts and the user community
- Plan, execute, analyze and/or report on Operational Assessments.
- Combine Operational Test (OT) activities with Development Test activities, and incorporate IT&E test data into dedicated OT reports.
- Ensure AFOTEC test plans include adequate measures of effectiveness and suitability
- Document analysis and test techniques
- Prepare and deliver oral presentations for high-level briefings, training sessions, consultations and strategy sessions
- Develop and prepare a variety of correspondence and other documentation
- Attend reliability, maintainability, and availability working groups, planning teams, witness test events, or other meetings and conferences
TRAVEL: 0-2 trips per month in CONUS, more frequent during active testing.

Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law. Job Requirements
- Active Top Secret clearance
- At least 6 years field experience as a Missile and Space Systems Maintenance Team member (2M0X2) at an operational ICBM Wing
- At least 4 years Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) experienceon a Major Defense Acquisition Program
- Hands-on Peacekeeper and/or Minuteman III Missile Maintenance Team experience
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles, safety and security requirements for nuclear weapons; interpreting block diagrams and technical orders, and proper handling, use, and disposal of hazardous waste and materials is mandatory
NOTE: Candidates will be required to obtain other special security accesses (SAP) and SCI to perform the work. Must have a current background investigation within the last six years from actual hire date. Candidates with a SECRET clearance will be considered, but preference will be given to those with active TOP SECRET clearances.
