LHH Recruitment Solutions seeks an entry-level experienced Corporate Paralegal to join our client’s growing downtown Pittsburgh law firm office. If you meet the requirements listed below, apply today!
Responsibilities:
Coordinate, organize, prepare, and interpret complex legal documents.
Build and maintain relevant databases and files.
File and provide copies to appropriate parties
Communicate with clients and 3rd parties to build and maintain positive professional relationships.
Perform factual research in internal and external databases and libraries.
Assist with legal business transactions and logistics, including formation, organization, and dissolution of funds.
Maintain fund formation checklists.
Conduct due diligence review of documents.
Participate in deal-closing activities, including the preparation of signature packages.
Prepare closing binders
Perform work efficiently and cost-effectively to permit the Firm to reasonably collect fees for such work while meeting expectations of target billable hours.
Qualifications:
At least 2+ years of Corporate Paralegal experience supporting multiple U.S. attorneys in a busy law firm environment
2+ years of experience with entity formations, corporate governance, and annual filings
2+ years of M&A experience, including closing documents and schedules, assembling signature packets, and closing binders
Commercial real estate experience and closings are a plus.
ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate (preferred); Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
Proficiency in MS Word and document editing/comparison applications; MS Excel and spreadsheet/database applications; MS PowerPoint and presentation applications; MS Outlook, Adobe, CRM software, and electronic filing
Proficiency in online research and internet search resources (Lexis Nexis/Westlaw)
Knowledge of Firm and Corporate practice-area-specific procedures and terminology
Knowledge of relevant jurisdictional/court/agency processes and procedures
Knowledge of timekeeping and expense reporting applications
Knowledge of legal billing processes
Compensation and Schedule:
Competitive salary and benefits package

Full-time, onsite, M-F with the ability to WFH 2 days/week once fully onboarded.
The pay range is $50,000 - $75,000, DOE.
Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
