The Sheet Metal Workers of Local 55 are currently looking for journeyman/journeywoman-level HVAC service technicians. This multi-disciplinary trade requires a broad range of skill sets. The ideal applicant may have a wide range of general skills and knowledge or a specific specialty niche focus. The key ingredients for a successful candidate are a strong work ethic, honesty, and intense curiosity about how mechanical and control systems work and operate. When applying for this organization, proof of 8000 hours of Commercial worked in the HVAC/R division of the trade is expected for journeyman/journeywoman status, EPA certification, Mech. 1, and O6A Trainee card Minimum.
