Job DescriptionMaintain, repair, and install kitchen equipment and systems in kitchens, pantry, and restaurants throughout the facility to ensure safe and proper operation.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions:
- Performs skilled mechanical maintenance work in the repair, installation, and alteration of heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration systems and related equipment and facilities.
- Installs, maintains, and repairs cooling towers, chillers, pumps, motors, and compressors.
- Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs a variety of control systems to include direct digital control (DDC) systems.
- Responds to and assists with coordinating responses to service calls accordingly.
- Operates and maintains specialized equipment related to assigned activities; performs preventive maintenance tasks on assigned equipment as needed; submits orders for materials per established procedures
- Prepares and maintains records and reports related to assigned activities.
- Plans and layout work related to HVAC
- Performs a variety of related skilled and unskilled tasks as assigned by the position.
- Communicates with other personnel and various outside agencies to exchange information, coordinate activities, and resolve issues or concerns.
- Maintain all the refrigeration equipment in the building.
- Maintain all HVAC equipment in the building (guestrooms, public areas, function rooms)
- Provide technical assistance to other technicians as necessary.
Essential:
- High school graduate.
- Ability to clearly communicate with proper grammar in English with guest/visitor and Hotel personnel to their understanding.
- Ability to provide legible communication.
- Two (2) years HVAC mechanic experience.
- Previous Hotel experience.
- Possession of an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Universal Refrigerant Certification #608.
Pay: $38.00-$44.00/hour The pay scale provided is a range that Omni Hotels & Resorts reasonably expects to pay. Actual compensation offered may fluctuate based on a candidate's qualifications and/or experience
