HVAC Service Technician
Chelan Valley Heating & Cooling Our purpose is to be THE reliable resource for the Central Washington communities for the highest quality HVAC service. We focus on improving all aspects of the customer experience from initial contact to becoming life-long customers that recommend us to others. We provide HVAC, electrical, and plumbing based in Manson, WA with plans to expand across the region. We work in Chelan, Douglas, and Okanogan counties. Contractors that have worked with us, continue to hire us for work based on our communication, quality, and fair prices. We are a new company with less than two years in business that has had great success. We are not continuing old habits in construction and focusing on creating the best work environment for our employees. The soul of our company is an ethos where our employees know we have their backs and provide what they need for a high quality of life which is passed onto the customers.
Pay starting $30 - $35 + Benefits (full-time year-round)

10 year veteran
Current Certifications
EPA certification
06A card
MECH 1
HVAC specialty electrical license 06B, EPA 608 Certification Type 2 or greater, and one or more of the following certifications:
North American Technician Excellence (N.A.T.E.)
HVAC/R Service Technician Certification.
HVAC Excellence Professional Level Certification.
UA Star HVAC/R Mastery Certification or Posses Journeyman License.
Complete an HVAC program
Must hold state driver’s license
Pre-employment background screening (criminal and DMV)
Skills & Experience
Seasoned journeyman level knowledge of servicing HVAC and refrigeration systems in residential and light commercial projects.
Knowledge of current codes and building requirements mandated by local and state government agencies for HVAC.

Solid technical understanding, with the ability to troubleshoot complex HVAC issues
Proficient in reading schematics and work plans
The Position
Install, diagnose, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for commercial and residential customers.
Calibrate system to manufacturer's recommendations and be able to explain the need for and value of recommended solutions. Instill confidence in your work to customers.
Reports to a project manager.
Layout and direct service techs with appropriate tasks daily.
Track multiple jobs progress while supervising the team.
Verify service standards are met by service team quality control).
Manages performance and provides training, coaching, and performance feedback to techs to drive productivity and efficiency.
Uses metrics to drive accountability and performance
Manage materials stock in vans and shop proficiently.
Document details of service parts, and repairs provided to customers in-person and electronically through phone apps.
Reliable communication with customers, crew, and admin.
Create and track SMART goals.
Has a desire to create and build a system that is innovative and progressive
Ensures use of PPE and the application of safe behavior by crew
Be available to work nights or weekends, on a rotating basis, to service emergency needs of our customers
