Hvac Lead Mechanic

We are looking for an experienced HVAC Lead Mechanic for the installation of mechanical systems on Federal facilities. This can lead to becoming a project superintendent.

Pay rate is determined by Union set Davis Bacon Rates. These rates are dependent on the state/county where the project is located. This opportunity is a travel position for a majority of the year, and it would be a year-round position. Positions currently available.

Pay rate as examples would be:

Denver $56.60/hr

Mill Valley CA $90.89/hr

Apple Valley MN $54.03/hr

Our mechanics will make between $100-150k per year if willing to travel. A company truck will also be provided for qualified people and as required. There is a minimal overtime required. We do offer a 401(k) and match program after a 90-day probation period. We are looking into offering health insurance in the near future.

Duties Include:

All commercial applications

Perform Mechanical and HVAC installations.

Installations to include RTU's, large split systems, VRF's, duct systems, refrigerant piping, hydronic piping, VAV's, controls, commercial humidifiers, controls and other commercial and industrial applications.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years' experience

EPA certified.

Valid driver's license

References

Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.

Possess own tools.

Communication skills

Prior experience on Federal projects is a plus, but not required.
