Human Resources Manager is responsible for executing HR processes and overall administration, coordination, risk management and evaluation of the Human Resources function at an individual facility. The Human Resources Manager will foster a workplace environment consistent with The WLF Way, modeling and coaching the Leadership Competency Model.
We are currently hiring for:
Job Title: Human Resources Supervisor
Wage Range: Depending on Experience; $68,000 to $78,000.
Job Summary: The Human Resources Supervisor is responsible for providing customer service to both internal and external customers. The Human Resources Supervisor will oversee daily functions of the Human Resources Department including but not limited to staffing, benefits, training, enforcing policies, etc.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist with payroll issues as needed.
- Works directly with team members, department leads, and supervisors/managers to ensure HR practices and procedures are developed, maintained and enforced.
- Review and discuss disciplinary concerns with team members and their supervisors.
- Assist with the full life-cycle of our team members which includes but not limited to:
- Internal Staffing
- Orientation of new team members
- Benefit enrollment
- Maintenance of team member records, including I-9 verification
- Leave of absence programs
- Attendance Program
- Respond and investigate team member concerns
- Proactively monitoring all aspects of the Human Resources function that will impact compliance with laws.
- Monitor culture and climate of the workforce to determine direction of needed initiatives.
- Maintain open communications with team members.
- Coordinates efforts with all departments.
- Collaborates and assists in work comp cases and investigations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources related field or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive Human Resource experience including supervisory experience.
- Multilingual skill set is preferred. English and Spanish.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial.
- Demonstrated experience working in a fast past environment and able to use independent judgment to organize and prioritize work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lead a team of resourceful and skilled team members.
- Advanced computer skills including Google Suite.
- Previous experience with timekeeping systems, Ultipro is a plus.
- Must be able to work independently without constant supervision.
- Must be able to problem solve.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to adjust quickly to changing demands.
- Must be able to work extended hours and weekends if needed.
- Ability to lead, motivate and develop others.
- Coaching and performance management experience a plus.
- Candidates must successfully pass post-offer/pre-employment drug test and background screen.
