Job Description
This position serves as a Human Resources Specialist for the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army Defense Exports & Cooperation (DASA DE&C). Responsible for managing the employee life cycle (i.e., recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and firing employees) and administering employee benefits. Provides advice on controversial, precedent-setting, and unusually difficult classification matters. Provides advice on interpretation of policies and regulations. This position is located in Arlington, VA and does allow for a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit Candidates by understanding the organization's needs and make sure those needs are met
- Research that the right candidates are being attracted and presented
- Update polices on a yearly basis
- Maintain employee records
- Training and supporting managers
- Offer continuing training

- Must possess a current Security Clearance (Secret level)
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field is preferred and at least ten (5) years of professional experience is required
