Overnight Guest Services Specialist/Housekeeper

Located just minutes from downtown Charlottesville and Scottsville, our upscale, boutique hotel, Albemarle Estate at Trump Winery is seeking the next Overnight Guest Services Specialist/Housekeeper who is an experienced and professional individual that is dedicated in providing exemplary customer service to our guests. We are looking for individuals who can work full-time( 5 days a week, 40 hours) on site with typical overnight hours of 10:00pm to 8:00am to include weekends

Starting pay is $18- 21 per hour based on experience plus tips and gratuities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Provide exemplary customer service
• Maintain the appearance of the reception, supply, break, and public areas
• Perform general housekeeping duties
• Assist with breakfast service &beverage service
• Perform other duties as assigned including but not limited to general office work, cleaning, back up for other team members
• Carry company radio and correspond with other departments on room statuses, privacy signs noted, and other pertinent information

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must possess strong organizational skills required and attention to detail
• College degree or 2+ years’ experience in the hospitality, hotel, or related field
• Must possess exceptional telephone skills
• Must possess excellent customer service skills and professional attitude
• Must be able to follow detailed instructions and complete tasks in a timely manner
• Work independently with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
• Must be able to converse in English
• Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, walking on uneven surfaces, using ladders, moving up and down stairs.
• Comfortable on a ladder, dusting overhead, reaching, and twisting
