Human Resources Recruiter

Wages: $23 - $27 per hour, based on experience

Responsibilities

• Manage begin-to-end recruitment process, including recruitment, ATS management, and interview procedures
• Collaborate with hiring managers to develop accurate job descriptions
• Research and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract diverse candidates
• Assist in interview and selection processes for specific roles
• Recommend salary ranges, incentives, and start dates in collaboration with hiring managers
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies
• Actively participate in recruiting activities and represent the company professionally
• Analyze recruiting data and provide recommendations
• Stay updated on industry trends and developments
• Serve as the company's recruiting subject matter expert
• Assisting with the onboarding process for new hires
• Conduct orientation for new hires and exit interviews for departing team members
• Participate in company events such as grand openings, culture crashes, celebrations
• Providing general administrative support to the HR department as needed

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with good negotiation tactics
• Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies in recruitment for a variety of roles
• Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
• Superb problem-solving skill
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple conflicting assignments
• Great judgment and confidentiality
• Able to work well with all departments
• Positive, personable, and comfortable working in a creative, free flowing environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite applications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience preferred

Experience

• 1-2 years of progressive experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process required
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Food and beverage, coffee and tea, or restaurant industry desired

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer screen
