What You Will Be Doing
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and address HR-DEI matters.
- Collaborate on HR-DEI processes, policies, and annual financial audits.
- Evaluate Kronos (HRIS) for organizational compatibility.
- Manage employee relations and support leadership growth.
- Advocate for DEI and cultural humility.
- Support talent selection and contribute to inclusive recruiting.
- Assist in creating a comprehensive onboarding process.
- Work on compensation analysis and benefits evaluation.
- Develop an organization-wide training program.
- Design consistent supervisory practices and manage staff development.
- Lead specific training initiatives and collaborate on performance appraisals.
What You Have To Offer
- 5+ years' of experience in Human Resources, preferably within a community-based nonprofit setting.
- Experience and/or demonstrated ability in leadership, coaching, employee development, and mentoring.
- Hands-on organizational experience applying DEI or cultural humility.
- Extensive background in compensation, benefits, DEI concepts, performance management, employee relations, recruiting, and employment laws
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace diversity, inclusion, and equity in line with clients values
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- High level of independence and efficiency, coupled with a desire to lead and contribute to high-performing teams
- Understanding of intersectionality, anti-racism, and power dynamics
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, emphasizing timely task completion
- Building positive rapport with employees and stakeholders at all levels
Compensation
This exciting direct-hire opportunity offers a salary of $100,000 to $110,000 annually as well as comprehensive benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA, 403B Plan, Life Insurance, PTO, and Sick Leave)
