Responsible for administration of the Wellness Program, Tuition reimbursement, Certification, Job Descriptions, Orientation/training, Employee Assistance Program, etc. to comply with various regulations. Completes required documentation for the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Completes Equal Employment Opportunity Report on an annual basis. Administers workers compensation and unemployment compensation programs.
Supervises all activities and functions of training and certification; attends conferences and seminars as requested to remain up to date on issues relative to the completion of job responsibilities. Develops, coordinates, and implements staff development planning activities for agency staff, including organizing and planning agency orientation.
Conducts quarterly personnel policy/procedure reviews and makes recommendations for additions/changes. Assists with employee committees including insurance, job shadowing, and diversity, equity and inclusion.
Responsible for recruitment and selection of employees and related programs; attends job fairs at local colleges and universities. Maintains, reviews, analyzes and revises agency position descriptions for job audits and/or time studies for various positions.
Serves as the Records Officer for WCBDD; reviews, monitors and updates agency record retention schedule. Coordinates annual shredding of outdated files.
Assists Human Resources Director in employee engagement activities, including employee relations, onboarding of new employees, and employee recognition. Creates and conducts various surveys to collect feedback from employees (satisfaction, compliance, acknowledgements, informational surveys, etc.); Assists with annual evaluation process.
Oversees the use of the agency Health and Wellness program
Serves as the lead contact with Ohio School Plan. Approves all changes in insurance policies. Monitors and ensures the continuance of property insurance.
Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
