Job Description
The Manager in the Leave Management Department will be responsiblef or ensuring the efficient operation of the Leave Management Unit, while ensuring regulatory compliance with Federal, State and Local laws regarding FMLA, state guaranteed leaves of absense, disability accomodation and benefit administration related to leaves of absence. The manager is responsible for monitoring practices to confirm that employees on Leaves of Absence are paid appropriately by law, and will conduct periodic payroll audits.
The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of HR Management experience with expertise working with employees re Lave Management and Disability Accommodation.
Must have supervisory experience and a thorough knowledge of FMLA, ADA, NY State Sick Time Laws, HIPPAA, COBRA, etc. and strong experience working with HRIS systems.
Bachelors degree required.
This position is in office and COVID vaccine, booster and a flu shot are required.
