Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Benefits Manager to join our team in Poughkeepsie, NY. This is a temporary position with no specified end date, offering competitive hourly compensation.
As a Benefits Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the administration of employee benefits programs. Your primary duties will include:
- Administering health, dental, vision, and retirement plans
- Managing leave of absence programs and employee wellness initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Handling benefits-related inquiries and resolving issues
- Coordinating with insurance carriers and vendors
- Conducting benefits orientations and providing ongoing education to employees
Benefits Manager Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in benefits administration
- Proficiency with benefits management systems; experience with Paylocity is a plus
- Strong knowledge of benefits laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
