Vident Asset Management is searching for a Human Resources Manager to join our team locally in the Alpharetta area. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the COO/CFO of a dynamic and growing team.

Founded in 2013, Vident boasts a unique portfolio of ETFs, serves as a trusted sub-advisor within the ETF industry, specializes in crafting bespoke indexes and models, and supports a robust SMA platform. We traditionally partner with institutional investors, asset managers, and the wealth management firms to Bring Investment Ideas to Life.

What you’ll do:

  • Employee Administration
    • Manage change in employee details, including PTO, compensation, healthcare, both internally and with external partners.
  • Recruiting and Talent Acquisition
    • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent (college outreach experience a plus)
    • Oversee hiring process including conducting interviews, generating offer letters, and onboarding
    • Collaborate with department heads to forecast staffing needs
  • Employee Relations
    • Address employee concerns and facilitate resolution
    • Develop and enforce policies and procedures to maintain a positive work environment
    • Conduct exit interviews
  • Performance Management and Development
    • Implement performance review programs and provide guidance to management on performance improvement strategies
    • Monitor and evaluate performance appraisal programs
    • Identify, evaluate and implement training programs and initiatives
  • Compensation and Benefits Administration
    • In partnership with our PEO provider, oversee administration of employee benefit programs
    • Monitor industry trends and best practices in benefits administration
    • Communicate benefits information to employees, manage the open enrollment process
    • Oversee and maintain compensation program in coordination with COO/CFO
  • HR Metrics and Reporting
    • Generate HR metrics and reports for management review
    • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and support decision-making
  • Other Responsibilities
    • Lead bi-weekly staff meeting
    • Assist in payroll processing
    • Identify areas for development, create and execute action plans
    • All other duties as assigned

Who you are:

  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree in business, HR management, or similar
  • You possess a SHRM-CP or PHR certification
  • You have strong communication skills and an aptitude for learning new things quickly
  • You are organized and have the ability to lead and execute multiple projects and programs simultaneously to meet deadlines. Proactive planner and responsive to urgent needs.
  • You possess the ability to analyze situations for HR and business risk, and the ability to implement solutions to mitigate such risk
  • You are able to discreetly handle confidential data
  • You have an aptitude for serving people with excellence and respect; good soft people skills and an ability to appeal to people across all levels of an organization
