Duties
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, resume screening, and conducting interviews
- Oversee employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hires
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations
- Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and terminations
- Coordinate performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development plans
- Provide guidance and support to managers on HR policies and procedures
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints or misconduct allegations
- Collaborate with department managers to identify training needs and develop appropriate training programs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures
- Familiarity with HR software systems such as Paylocity, ADP, Ceridian, or Kronos
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Note: Experience with conflict management, ATS (Applicant Tracking System), data collection, HR sourcing, and Human Resources management is highly desirable.
The successful candidate may be required to perform additional tasks as needed to support the organization's HR function.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
