POSITION SUMMARY:
The HR Manager is both a strategic and hands-on role that provides full cycle HR support as well as executes our employee initiatives. This role will be accountable for leading initiatives to directly influence strategies to foster talent development, performance management, retention, and engagement. The HR Manager will collaborate with leaders on talent related issues and will act as employee advocate and change agent.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Builds strong relationships with leaders across the organization to understand talent trends, business needs and strategy to deliver solutions that support positive results.
- Supports and enables leaders to make informed decisions about talent and to hold the organization accountable for business results.
- Provides day-to-day leadership of team and create an environment that accelerates development of HR talent; applies rigorous knowledge management to capture learning, drive continuous improvement, and enhance employee engagement.
- Proactively identifies trends, risks, and opportunities within the organization and develop HR solutions in partnership with leadership.
- Using data and analytics, develops solutions to current business issues as well as proactively engage in risk mitigation.
- Recommends and implements winning practices employed in the areas of talent acquisition, assessment, development, compensation, organizational effectiveness, strategy, on-boarding, change management and communications.
- Analyzes and concisely presents information to the management team to enable good business decisions.
- Leverages and partners with colleagues across the organization to support talent strategies.
- Provides business insight through data analysis, research, and bench marking.
- Coaches and advises employees and leaders on performance and interpersonal issues.
- Educates and advises leadership on compensation issues and applicable regulations.
- Creates a vision and goals for a HR team and inspire and motivate the team to achieve excellence in terms of customer support and core HR processes.
- Creates and drives effective and positive employee relations, retention, and reward programs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent consultative and coaching skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities within a high pressure environment.
- Prior experience leading, coaching, and mentoring direct reports and leading HR teams with talented HR professionals.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE/OTHER:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience (Type & Length): 3-5 years of HR management experience.
- Software/Hardware: MS Office Suite, Kronos
- License/Certification: Professional certification in Human Resources (PHR) strongly preferred.
