The Human Resources Manager / Bookkeeper, in support of the company mission and vision, is responsible for the overall operation and management of the RocketCert Bookkeeping, Inventory & Purchasing, Human Resources, Office Management, and Customer Service operations including, but not limited to:
Customer Service:
- Support customer assist answering phones, providing support
- Review customer support calls and chats to ensure RocketCert protocols are followed
- Revise customer support policies and procedures as needed to better the customer experience and enhance profitability
Bookkeeping
- Post sales and categorize expenses daily in QuickBooks Online (QBO)
- Pay all bills and taxes before the due date
- Reconcile QBO with credit card/bank statements monthly.
- Maintain all annual reports, business licenses, insurance, and bonds
Human Resources
- Manage payroll processing
- Coordinate benefits administration
- Mediate Employee Conflict
- Create action plans / disciplinary plans as needed
Inventory and Purchasing
- Maintain proper inventory levels for the books we sell
- Place purchases for new inventory as needed, while ensuring orders placed are with the proper discount/minimum quantity
- Negotiate terms/discounts with vendors to improve profit margins
- Verify product quantity as they arrive to ensure the vendor shipped the correct amount
- Fill purchase orders in QBO
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $52,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
