Performance Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the Chief Legal Officer, Head of People Services build a foundation of trust and collaboration with People Services team and senior management.
- Provide support to management in assigned region regarding employee relations, including conducting formal investigations when needed, and assist manager in corrective action process.
- Supervise Human Resource Business Partner(s).
- Partner with management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business.
- Create a compensation strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys; keeps the strategy up to date.
- Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations.
- Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities.
- Use performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to the team.
- Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently.
- Maintain company organization charts and employee directory.
- Analyze trends in compensation and benefits.
- Design and implement employee retention strategies.
- Provide support and guidance to People Services Team.
- Maintain accurate Worker’s Compensation Records and OSHA 300 Log as required by law for applicable region.
- Under the direction of the Chief Legal Office, Head of People Services, manage the FMLA, ADA, and accommodation requests processed by the HRBP(s) for assigned region.
- Periodically attend professional development seminars, webinars, trainings, etc. to maintain up to date knowledge of Human Resources trends and regulations.
- Administer or oversee all employee benefit plans to include:
- Serve as COBRA Administrator for the Agency.
- Serve as EAP Coordinator for the Agency.
- Maintain COBRA and FMLA records as required by law.
- Process monthly billing from insurance providers, review for accuracy and resolve discrepancies for payment.
- Any and all other tasks or projects, as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred, or 7-10 years experience in Human Resources, or a combination of education and experience.
- PHR certification and HRIS system experience preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency required.
- This position is subject to a background check for any convictions directly related to its duties and responsibilities. No background check will be conducted unless and until a conditional offer of employment has been made to an applicant. This position must also successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.

This position can be a manager or senior level starting around $97,000 annually.
