PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES
Responsible for proper resolution of all employee problems as well as associate training and development.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Recruitment: Actively recruit for all open full-time positions using the internal job bid system and well as external sources such as job fairs, job boards, social media; coordinate interviews with prospective candidates and department leaders.
- Coordinate the onboarding process including offer letters, background checks, drug screens, E-verify, direct deposits
- Conduct New Hire Orientation to introduce new hires to Pacific Manufacturing’s policies, procedures
- Enter new hires into the Paycor system
- Assist new hires with Benefits including enrolling initially and open enrollment.
- Assist HR Manager with Performance Evaluations process and Merit Increases
- Assist HR Manager with Retention and Turnover activities
- Injury/Illness Tracking-reporting injuries/illnesses to WC carrier, tracking WC paperwork from medical providers, completing WC forms such as C-42 and others
- Manager OSHA 300 Log
- Assist managers with disciplinary issues (back-up to HR Manager)
- Employee Relations Investigations (back-up to HR Manager)
- Assist with FMLA, ADA, STD paperwork and tracking (back-up to HR Manager)
- Back-up HR Generalist Temporary Management Program including orientations and entering in to Paycor
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- 3-5 years HR experience in a manufacturing setting
- Proficient in Microsoft business applications (word, excel, power point, and access).
- Data entry and file management experience.
- Understands the importance of confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to cooperate and work in a strong team environment.
- Valid State Drivers License.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT
- Prolonged sitting.
- Ability to lift boxes and supplies weighing between 5-25lbs.
ENVIRONMENAL CONDITIONS
- Primarily inside office environment.
- Climate controlled.
- Occasionally must enter the manufacturing plant with exposure to noise, heat, cold; must wear personal protective equipment (hats, glasses, shoes.)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
