Description
SUMMARY:
The HR Manager provides leadership to the HR operations team including oversight of the benefits, employee relations, and recruitment functions. This position is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of HR processes and services to the company. This leader will also ensure implementation of effective onboarding strategies.

• Develop comprehensive talent acquisition plans including assuming lead role with executive recruiting.
• Provides overall leadership to the leave of absence (LOAs) and worker's compensation function.
- Ensures compliant benefits administration including enrollments, status changes, plan design, billing and invoice reconciliation.
- Implements doctor onboarding processes and communicates with all new providers.
- Assists with employee benefit communications and strengthens vendor relationships.
- Ensures effective transfer, status change, and employee recognition processes.
- Assists CPO with change management initiatives including organizational restructuring and communications.
- Audit completion and ongoing updates to the HRIS to ensure data integrity.
- Provide reports and analysis to company leadership to support business decision making.
- Evaluates, recommends, and documents new HR processes to continually improve efficiency of the department and services provided.
- Develops HR policies and provides guidance on interpretation.
- Assists with handbook revisions and communications to key stakeholders.
- Handles employee relations matters from intake to resolution, in collaboration with CPO and Legal/Compliance as needed.
- The HR Manager will partner with the Chief People Officer to establish goals and the annual work plan for the team.
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to leaders including coaching, counseling, and performance management.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Maintains strict employee privacy and confidentiality when dealing with employee information.
- Keeps commitments and keeps direct supervisor informed of work progress, timetables, and issues.
- Maintains strict compliance with State, Federal and other regulations (e.g., OSHA, WC, HIPAA, ADA, FEHA, DOL, HR policies and practices).
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
REQUIRED:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field; minimum 5 years of related HR team leadership experience; or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Working knowledge of the human resource disciplines.
DESIRABLE:
HR experience in the healthcare industry.
CERTIFICATES/LICENSES/REGISTRATIONS:
• PHR or SPHR Certification a plus.

Salary Description
$90,000 - $120,000
