What You'll Do

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic leader of Operations Management to support the Head of People in leading and advancing our human resources function. This leader will be a key partner in driving the CPO's vision, strategic initiatives, and daily operations. This role requires a dynamic and organized individual who is adept at managing complex projects, facilitating executive communication, and providing leadership on HR-related matters. They will play an instrumental role in ensuring the success and efficiency of the People Team and its impact on the organization.

Location: This is a Hybrid role, working onsite at our San Jose headquarters at least 3 days per week with the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of your time

Reports to: Head of People Team

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate closely with the CPO to develop, communicate, and execute HR strategies, annual goals, and long-term plans aligned with the organization's overall objectives.
  • Budget Oversight: Manage the organization's budget in close partnership with the CPO, collect budget needs of all HR functions annually, distribute approved budgets, track budget utilization and advise on notable spend gaps and/or differences.
  • Project Management: Lead and oversee critical HR projects and initiatives, ensuring timely completion, tracking progress, and providing regular updates to the leadership team. Collaborate with HR leaders to identify and problem solve project conflicts.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor to the CPO and maintain relationships with senior leaders, HR team members, and cross-functional partners to drive alignment and support for HR initiatives. Communication: Prepare and review executive-level communications, presentations, and reports on HR matters, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Team Coordination: Manage and coordinate the HR leadership team, including setting meeting agendas, facilitating discussions, and tracking action items to drive successful HR operations. Proactively identify opportunities for additional collaboration.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data and analytics to provide insights, assess HR performance, and identify areas for improvement, recommending data-driven solutions and initiatives.
  • Change Management: Play a pivotal role in organizational change management, ensuring that HR initiatives are effectively communicated and embraced by employees.
  • Special Projects: specific projects and assignments as directed by the CPO.
  • Manage, develop, and inspire a team: data analyst, PMO, researcher, writer, and graphics designer

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field with 20+ years experience preferred.
  • Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, demonstrating a deep understanding of HR principles, practices, and trends.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering complex HR projects on time and within budget. Able to pivot and adapt with unexpected changes and challenges.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships and influencing at all organizational levels.
  • High degree of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically, managing competing priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in HR software and tools.
  • Adept at fostering a positive work culture and team collaboration.
  • High level of adaptability and agility in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
