Job Description
We are working with our client to source a Human Resources Manager in the Auburndale, FL area.
The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities within a manufacturing environment and partner with the organization's corporate team on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's Human Resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating Human Resources compliance, policies, programs, and practices.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the tactical operations of the Human Resources department, including recruiting, payroll, benefits, policy implementation, and employee relations.
- Promotes positive employee relations by providing ongoing consultation to leadership, guiding managers on employee relations issues and ensuring compliance with best practices.
- Oversees employee activities to promote engagement, professional development, wellness, and employee satisfaction.
- Facilitates engagement surveys, including annual, onboarding, and ad-hoc.
- Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in the efficiency of the department and services performed.
- Conducts and facilitates investigations and enforces disciplinary proceedings.
- Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
- 5+ years' experience in Human Resources.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification, required.
- Bi-lingual in Spanish highly preferred.
- Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
- Very strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to exercise good judgement.
