Human Resources Manager – Gurnee, IL

We have a client looking to add an experienced Human Resources Manager! Join a leading manufacturing and distribution company that specializes in delivering fresh, appealing, nutritious meals, and snacks created specifically for kids. Our client’s dedication has been serving daycares, preschools, and grade schools in the Northern IL region for years and they currently deliver more than 20,000 meals each day to over 200 locations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop your strategies by identifying and researching human resource issues at the company.
• Implement Human Resources strategies.
• The strategy must include accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, benefits, payroll processing, and compensation.
• Manage human resource operations by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, and counseling the staff.
• Accomplish special projects assigned to you by identifying and clarifying issues and priorities.
• Support management by providing Human Resources advice, counsel, and decisions.
• Guide management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies and employee training and policy manuals.
• Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.

The HR manager works a full-time schedule during regular business hours but depending on the company, may be required to work overtime. Our timeline to fill this position is 2 to 6 weeks.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, business administration, or a related field is required
• 2+ years of Human Resources experience required
• Bilingual Spanish speaking is a big plus but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
