Overview:
Guaranteed Appliance, a leader in the refurbished appliance industry, is seeking an experienced Human Resource and General Office personto join our team. As the Human Resources Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of HR operations and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. This positions will also include some general office type functions such as accounts payable and working with our trucking vendors. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization by implementing effective HR and office strategies and fostering a positive work environment.
Please Note: This position can be full or part time depending on the candidate. Salary is based on experience.
Duties:
- Implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local labor laws and company standards
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions
- Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including orientation programs and exit interviews
- Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management
- Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files, benefits enrollment, and attendance records
- Coordinate payroll processing in collaboration with the finance department
- Manage employee benefits programs and ensure effective communication to employees
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HR management
Experience:
- Prior experience in Human Resources or related field
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws
- Experience with file management systems and HR software
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion
