This role is an HR Generalist Associate with heavy employee relations, and will have the opportunity to learn and do all aspects of HR. They will continue to drive forward the Human Resource programs, policies, culture, and employee experience that have already made us successful. This opportunity will be based in our Seattle location and will support domestic sites.
Primary Purpose:
Responsible for providing support of a confidential and complex nature for the effective delivery of Human Resources programs and services to all employees. This role will touch on employee relations, recruiting and staffing, benefits, and company-wide HR projects for a multi-state organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Consults with all levels of leadership on employee relations, staffing, compensation, development, recruiting, organizational and change management.
- Works with payroll to ensure the timely submission, processing, and problem resolution of employer related transactions.
- Provides project coordination to Human Resources.
- Identifies and implements processes to improve workflow, organization, and communication.
- Support benefit administration to include enrollment, employee changes, and billing.
- Responsible for maintaining and updating HRIS.
- Supports implementation of Human Resources programs, processes and other initiatives.
- Researches issues, gathers information, and prepares reports.
- Provides support to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Perform other projects and duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Knowledge of local, federal, and state employment laws and regulations. California experience preferred.
- Experience using Ceridian/Dayforce a plus.
- Ability to interact with co-workers, guests, and senior management to positively represent the organization.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills with the ability to interact effectively with all staff.
- Ability to occasionally work weekends and evenings.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of Human Resources management.
Education and/or Equivalent Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and highly relevant experience required.
- Human resources experience with emphasis on employee relations, employment law, and staffing strongly preferred.
- SHRM CP, or PHR highly preferred.
Compensation:
The minimum salary for this position is $68,000 and the maximum salary is $73,000. Individual compensation will vary within this range based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience as they relate to the requirements for this position. This position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus, dependent upon company and individual performance.
