Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team. As a Human Resources Generalist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the HR department and ensuring the smooth operation of various HR functions. Duties: - Conduct employee orientation sessions to ensure new hires are familiar with company policies, procedures, and benefits - Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures - Manage employee records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality - Coordinate recruitment efforts including job postings, resume screening, and scheduling interviews - Assist with payroll processing using Kronos or similar workforce management system - Collaborate with the HR team to administer employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and workers' compensation - Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs - Assist with performance management processes including performance evaluations and disciplinary actions - Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations - Support administrative tasks such as maintaining HR files, preparing reports, and managing HR software systems (e.g., Paychex, iCIMS) - Manage social media platforms for HR-related content Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred - Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources roles - Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations (e.g., OSHA) - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Proficiency in using HR software systems (e.g., Kronos, Paychex) - Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail - Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively We offer competitive compensation packages along with opportunities for professional growth and development.
