Responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of Cardiac Rehabilitation.DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:* Must be able to work independently with proven organizational leadership skills.* Verbal ability is necessary to present ideas and subject matter, to express clearly new ideas and techniques, to understand medical terminology and to compile written records.* Utilizes adult learning theory. Clerical perception is necessary to organize materials for program content.* Marketing and Human Relations skills required.* Keeps equipment and supplies safe for use and in working order.* Performs other duties and special projects as required and approved by Program Director.* Attends required training and continuing education as evidenced by attendance forms that will be added to personnel file.* Completes all competency requirements as evidenced by completion forms, these will be completed annually or per hospital requirements.Minimum Qualifications:KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES* Ability to organize, coordinate and evaluate activity program for patient population.EDUCATION* Bachelor degree required, Masters preferred* BCLS, ACLS required.EXPERIENCE* Requires up to two years of experience as professional nurse in which potential supervisory competence has been demonstrated.* Two years of coronary care experience preferred* Must be able to work independently with proven organizational leadership skills.* Verbal ability is necessary to present ideas and subject matter, to express clearly new ideas and techniques, to understand medical terminology and to compile written records.* Utilizes adult learning theory.
