About The Centers
The Centers fights for equity by healing, teaching, and inspiring individuals and families to reach their full potential. Our integrated model coordinates health and wellness services including primary care, behavioral health care, addiction services, HIV treatment, in-house pharmacies, and dental; along with family support programs including early childhood development, career training, and job placement. The organization is one of the oldest and largest nonprofit organizations in Northeast Ohio, serving more than 15,000 people annually in our community. Visit TheCentersOhio.org to learn more.
In 2022, The Centers brought Cleveland Christian Home (CCH) under its corporate structure. CCH was founded in 1900 by Rev. Henry Timme, a pastor in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Today, CCH is a beacon of hope and healing for children, youth, and families recovering from trauma. CCH is a behavioral health facility offering Residential Treatment for youth aged 6-17 and emergency housing and support (T-Suites) for children aged 12 to 17 waiting on placement that will meet their needs. CCH believes that all youth deserve access to services that will allow them to achieve recovery, be treated with dignity, and have opportunities to realize a fulfilling and self-sufficient life. To this end, CCH provides treatment to help youth develop the skills necessary to thrive in a family environment and in the community.
Now, the organizations work together to provide expanded access to behavioral health services and emergency housing for children and adolescents through therapeutic residential programs.
