The Human Resources Business Partner plays a critical role in serving our most important asset - our people. Success in the role involves: identifying and helping to onboard the talent requirements of the organization; coaching and guiding the management team on matters of people; complying with ever changing external regulations; helping to steward the Pharos culture; and building efficient systems and processes for growth. Reporting to the CFO, this position is an integral member of the Pharos management team - guiding company and people strategy.
What You Get Do:
- Talent Management: lead the organization's commitment to sustaining a high-performance culture; recruit, hire, retain, and develop talent.
- Staffing/Recruiting: ensure staff are added to the team by managing/influencing the hiring process from role definition through to employment
- Onboarding: ensure that new members of the team have the tools and knowledge needed to minimize their time to productivity
- Employee Relations: be the trusted advisor for the team; address conflict and work issues at all levels of the organization
- Pay and Rewards: regular review of market changes related to roles and pay. Manage the compensation review process and ensure we reward for performance while managing internal equity.
- Performance Management: assist the management team and staff in working through performance issues and opportunities for growth within the organization. Coach on areas for improvement.
- Benefit Management and Administration: understand the competitive market of benefits and provide day-to-day administration of the plans, including annual open enrollment.
- Compliance, Immigration and Record Keeping: work with internal and external experts to ensure all government requirements related to Human Resources are complete and met on a timely basis. Have well organized and comprehensive records for both internal needs and outside requests. Meet deadlines for equal opportunity, affirmative action, unemployment, workers compensation, and all other federal and statutory requirements. Assist our foreign national employees on visa issues. Build people policies as needed.
- Training and Development: provide sound recommendations for training and fulfillment needs of the organization including build vs. buy decisions. Able to assess training programs for value. Capable of platform delivery of skills training.
- Steward the Culture: understand what makes the company a great place to learn and grow; serve as an advocate, supporter, guide, and mentor - someone who often must deliver the truth, even when it's difficult to hear.
What You Bring:
- BS in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business or equivalent experience required
- 7+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in high tech software and services.
- 2+ years of experience in professional recruiting (either agency or in-house)is a plus
- Expertise in HRIS technology, ADP Workforce Now experience a plus

Pharos offers a competitive salary of $80,000-$90,000/USD per year, commensurate with experience and education.
