THE OPPORTUNITY

With growth comes opportunity! We are looking to add a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to our team in Newport, VT. You will act as advisor to assigned Business Unit (BU)/Shared Service/Location by providing HR services and solutions to keep focus on the business priorities and achievement of objectives. In this highly visible role, you will be part of the BU leadership team and will actively support initiatives and transfer best practices from different functions in the organization. As HRBP, you will lead the people management agenda, acting as the enabler for the management team. This is an on-site role with quarterly travel to Montreal required.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a critical team member, you will work across the organization on a variety of programs including, but not limited to Workforce Planning; Total Reward and Recognition, including compensation structure; Talent Acquisition; Performance Management; Learning and Development and Employee Engagement. You will be consult with internal and external customers regarding Policies and Procedures, Compliance Management, Employee Relations and Labor Law and General Administration.

YOU WILL BE EVALUATED ON YOUR ABILITY TO

• Build a strong business relationship (trusted advisor) with the internal client.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop the organizational structure of the internal client and propose / implement changes.
• Serve as the Employee Engagement Champion through strong collaboration with the management teams and all levels of facility Associates.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization regarding business performance.
• Assist in the design and implementation of all HR related processes, as well as the delivery of HR processes throughout the BU/location.
• Encourage feedback received from all employees in particular, all levels of management on the overall effectiveness of HR processes.
• Administer oversight and corrective action procedures in order to ensure consistent application of policies and procedures.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

• Bachelor's degree in a Business or Human Resources field (advanced degree a plus) and meaningful experience in Human Resources, ideally in a manufacturing setting
• A passion for excellence, strong communication skills and a high level of integrity.
• Critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong business acumen
• Labor Law knowledge and experience and process improvement experience.
• Professional HR certification a plus.
