Job Description
JOB SUMMARY: The Human Resources (HR) Assistant performs varied clerical duties required to administer various programs within the HR Department. Under direction from the Director of HR, the HR Assistant is responsible for the following:
- Perform administrative duties, such as maintaining employee database and sorting emails for the HR department.
- Maintain proper records of employee attendance and leaves of absence.
- Assist with recruiting - submit online job postings, shortlist candidates and schedule job interviews.
- Coordinate orientation and training sessions for new employees
- Ensure smooth communication with employees and timely resolution to their inquiries or request for assistance.
- Run quarterly and ad hoc reports.
- Ensure employee events and programs are coordinated and carried out in each office.
- Manage and coordinate employee recognition and award program.
- Assist with the Company's Environmental Health and Safety Program
- Support for Director and HR Coordinator with assigned and miscellaneous clerical duties.
- Assist with payroll and benefit administration.
The HR Assistant will work in a professional services office environment supporting 148 employees in 6 states and 13 offices.
Office environments are small - support is provided remotely.

REQUIREMENTS
- BS or Associates - Business Administration as plus, but not required.
- 2+ years of experience in Human Resources
- ADP Workforce Now experience a big plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs (Outlook, Excel), Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
