We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Assistant to join our team. If you're detail-oriented, have recruiting experience, work with a sense of urgency, and have a passion for finding great talent, this is the job for you! You will work in Matthew's office, Monday through Friday.
The Human Resources Assistant will provide full-cycle recruiting for all open positions. This includes maintaining job postings, updating HR systems/applicant tracking systems, creating offer letters, tracking background checks, communicating updates to applicable individuals, and attending career events. This position will directly recruit, screen candidates, schedule interviews for multiple positions, and manage the onboarding process for all new hires.

Required skills/education:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office products, including PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Word, and Excel
- Ability to travel, as needed
Preferred skills/education:
- Associate or bachelor's degree
- Highly proficient in using Workday
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (presentation skills)
- Experienced in creating recruitment plans to reduce time to fill
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the pre-employment processes for identified hires. This includes ensuring a completed application and resume, submitting offer letters, and initiating background checks.
- Contact candidates during the pre-employment process to communicate updates
- Track progress of background checks and drug test screening. Provide updated information to candidates and hiring managers.
- Ensure internal new hire processes are initiated including the New Hire notification, Onboarding tracker.
- Update job postings to ensure they are targeting the correct candidates
- Maintain job posting templates to ensure brand consistency
- Review resumes and screen candidates for specific roles
- Schedule candidates for interviews with the manager
- Maintain and prepare updated collateral for recruiting initiatives
- Ensure employee referral information is maintained and paid out in a timely manner
- Passively source for difficult-to-fill roles
- Identify and attend recruiting events and build community relationships
- Assist with social media presence
- Track recruiting expenses
- Travel to regional recruiting events
- Other duties as assigned
