Hours:            Monday – Thursday 8:00 am – 5:30 pm

 Friday 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Human Resources Generalist to join our team. Serving as a vital link between our valued employees and management, this position contributes to the cultivation of a cohesive and productive workplace environment while upholding the company’s policies and compliance with legal regulations.

What You'll Do:

• Oversee onboarding, off-boarding, benefits administration, and personnel file maintenance.
• Assist in payroll processes to ensure accuracy and error prevention.
• Assist in workers’ compensation and injury-related matters.
• Ensure company policies align with employment laws and promote equal opportunity and anti-discrimination practices.
• Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos, emails.
• Provide assistance for training, events, and document management.
• Participate in the recruitment process, including interviews and background checks.
• Conduct background checks and employee eligibility verifications.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

• Associate degree is required.
• 3+ years of relevant experience and/or training.
• Human Resources Certification and payroll experience is preferred.
• Experience with Human Resources Information System is preferred.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of organizational principles, planning, records management, and general administration.
• Dependability, adaptability, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Strong prioritization and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective problem-solving skills with the capacity to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Strong project management and decision-making skills.

Compensation:

Salary range between $23.00 - $28.00 hourly – may be eligible for additional, discretionary incentive compensation based on the individual and the company’s performance.

Compensation will be determined by several factors including educational background and experience.
