Position Responsibilities:
- Assisting with all functions related to recruiting, hiring and onboarding
- Conducting new hire orientation and benefits orientation
- Serving as the day-to-day contact for ORA provided benefits and programs
- Ensuring timely and accurate processing of all billing and invoices related to benefits administration
- Updating policies and procedures as needed
- Assisting in event planning including employee appreciation and recognition programs
- Maintaining employee personnel files
- Managing the Workers Compensation process and filing claims in a timely manner
- Administering and tracking all FMLA / Leave of Absences
- Assisting in the support and implementation of HR projects
- Acting as the subject matter expert for the online training software
- Assisting in employee relations matters and the daily administration of other Human Resources services as directed or assigned
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and company policies
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and complying with all HIPAA rules and regulations
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources or Business Administration is preferred
- Minimum three years of Human Resources experience is required
- Working knowledge of and skill in interpreting and applying federal, state and local statutes and applicable rules and regulations related to the management of employee benefits plans
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, consultants and vendors
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, problem solving and organization skills
- Detail oriented and able to prioritize multiple projects
- Knowledge of personal computer applications including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
