Job Profile Summary
- Responsible for administering multiple areas of Human Resources and rewards programs including, but not limited to: Payroll and Benefits administration, HR employment matters related to recruiting/hiring/onboarding, termination of employment, training, workers comp and safety, etc.
- Personnel records maintenance pertaining to benefits, compensation, leaves of absence, retirement, etc.
- Compliance reporting to internal management and external agencies
- Compensation & benefits program implementation and administration
JOB SUMMARY
The Human Resources Manager will work with leadership to successfully execute local, and corporate Human Resources programs, initiatives, and policies to maintain equitable and consistent development and treatment of personnel.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that the company complies with all State and Federal regulatory agencies and employment laws.
- Process weekly payroll utilizing Paycor.
- Manage benefits administration processes to include assisting new hires with the enrollment process, reconciling monthly invoices and assisting employees with benefits related questions and escalated issues. Partner with insurance broker and corporate Human Resources to facilitate successful annual open enrollment process.
- Manage 401k retirement plan enroll new hires, fund weekly contribution file and assist with annual audit.
- Conduct new hire processes such as onboarding, orientation processes, I-9 verification, drug testing and conduct safety training as required.
- Assist with annual compliance reporting (ACA, EEO1, 401k audit, etc)
- Oversee the performance management process, working with leaders to assist with team member performance reviews and coaching, providing training and consultation as necessary.
- Work with leaders to create and maintain workforce staffing plans.
- Coordinate recruiting efforts to ensure that competent, diverse, and skilled associates are hired, and workload levels are appropriate and maintained, and work to retain talent.
- Formulate and recommend program goals and objectives in all areas of employee relations.
- Develop and/or manage existing compensation policies, procedures, and programs.
- Communicate compensation policies, procedures, and programs to associates.
- Provide guidance and recommendations for Human Resources practices and problem resolutions.
- Complete periodic reviews and updates to policies, procedures and processes as required.
- Conduct employee relations investigations, report findings and make disciplinary recommendations to leadership and corporate Human Resources as required.
- Provide guidance and recommendations for problem resolution to leadership and team members as needed.
- Maintains Training System Database, schedules training, enters employee information, works with management on new training requirements, assists with administration duties for internal and external training and ensures documents and records are maintained.
- Assists management in maintaining safety program, training, documents, records, and reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelors degree with major or emphasis in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent work experience
- Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) Professional Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM CP strongly preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in corporate Human Resources roles as an HR Coordinator/ Specialist or Generalist
- Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.

- Working knowledge of HR laws and regulations
- Recruiting and staffing
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience with Paycor HRIS strongly preferred.
- Experience with Fidelity PSW preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills
