We are looking for an experienced and proactive Human Resources Manager to join our team. This role is integral to our company's functioning, focusing on supporting our security staff and ensuring effective HR operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Staffing: Manage the recruitment process for security personnel, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Employee Relations: Serve as the first point of contact for employee concerns and queries, fostering a positive work culture and resolving any issues effectively.
- Training and Development: Coordinate training programs for staff, ensuring compliance with industry standards and enhancing skill sets.
- Performance Management: Assist in developing and implementing performance review processes, supporting managers and employees.
- Compliance and Record-Keeping: Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies. Maintain accurate employee records and documentation.
- Benefits and Compensation: Administer employee benefits programs and assist with payroll processing.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of HR experience, preferably in a similar industry.
- Knowledge of Florida employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Robust recruiting skills.
- HR certifications, SHRM preferred.
