We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team. As a Human Resources Generalist, you will play a key role in managing various Human Resource functions and providing support to employees throughout the organization.

As a Human Resource Generalist you will:

• Support activities inside our HR department, from coordinating meetings to maintaining our employee database to posting job ads.
• Act as a liaison between HR and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions.
• Manage the recruitment process for all exempt, non-exempt, and supplemental personnel.
• Conduct new hire and supplemental employee orientations.
• Assist in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.
• Act as a resource for management and non-management employees regarding a range of Human Resource issues (compensation, policy & procedure, employee relations and others); provide solutions and guidance to inquiries.
• Interact with employees on the production floor on a weekly basis to strengthen the connection between HR and production to increase communication and allow for an open-door atmosphere.
• Assist in the administration of employee benefits.
• Maintain I-9 files and reviews periodically for expiration of documents.
• Administer FMLA and employee leave of absences.
• Stay up to date with employment labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Maintain poise and respond in a professional and respectful manner to all situations.
• Assist with HR data management and reporting, including data entry and maintenance of employee records.

Required qualifications for a Human Resource Generalist:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field required.
• 1 -2 years' experience in an HR assistant or relevant Human Resources/administrative position.
• Demonstrate ability to work with confidential information, strong work ethic, reliability, teamwork and flexibility.
• Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
• Skilled in performing detailed work with a high degree of quality and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Must demonstrate safe work practices, work with limited supervision, and communicate with coworkers, manager and other departments.
