Summary: Human resource Assistant to undertake a variety of HR related administrative duties.
- Temp to Hire - after 90 days - hired with company.
- Monday thru Friday
- 8 am to 5 pm
- Must have resume and available to interview with client.
- $20.00/hour to start
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in recruiting and hiring process: coordinating interviews, Laison between HR and staffing agencies, and conduct initial orientation for staffing agency assignments.
- Prepare weekly reports relating to personnel and staffing activities.
- Coordinate and conduct onboarding new hires.
- Maintains employee database and files (hard and soft copies).
- Act as the first point of contact for HR-related administrative duties.
- Provide consistent, courteous, and prompt assistance to employees with HR administration questions.
- Assist with bi-weekly payroll preparation by reconciling time records for multiple divisions and departments.
- Work closely with the HR Administration Controller.
- Assist with annual open enrollment.
- Provide clerical and administrative support for the HR department.
Qualifications:
- Experience as an HR assistant.
- Bilingual skills (Verbal and Written) required.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Basic knowledge of labor laws.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
- HR certifications or degree a plus.
