As an HR Administrator, you're focus will be:
- Service and support the success of our operations by:
- Ensuring successful onboarding of new employees
- Assisting with monitoring employee attendance and performance
- Communicating pertinent information on company initiatives and policies
- Facilitating open discussion on how we provide a good working environment and build employee morale around the HODGE core values
- Administering and reviewing employee surveys to address workforce needs and potential areas of improvement
- Providing coaching, counsel and support to management and employees regarding Human Resource related issues and conflicts
- Assisting with maintaining performance and behavior standards through employee development initiatives and progressive discipline, when necessary
- Conduct regular meetings with onsite leadership to review workforce needs including but not limited to, current openings and upcoming new hires, employee development, recognition, terminations, and upcoming HR initiatives
- Conduct Human Resource investigations and facilitate effective resolution
- Conduct employee terminations when appropriate
- Serve as employee contact for payroll and benefits related questions
- Serve as employee contact for any leave related questions, such as Family and Medical Leave
- With HR Manager, ensure legal compliance and consistency in all fields related to employment law
- Maintain confidentiality and instill trust within the organization
- Be available to work with employees across different shifts
- Occasional travel required
- Walk through each location to meet with employees
- Work toward continuous improvement
- Stay current with changing technology
- Uphold, support, and promote all company policies and procedures
What You Need
Required:
- Be flexible to support employees as needed across three shifts
- A great attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Occasional travel required
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Tools)
- Physical demands will including sitting for long periods of time, standing, talking, hearing, using hands and fingers for keyboarding, and lift up to 10 lbs.
Preferred:
- College degree in Business and/or Human Resources
- PHR or SPHR certification
- Two or more years of Human Resource experience
- Previous management experience
