Job description

What You'll Do:
As an Executive Benefit Administrator, you’ll manage and provide ongoing plan support and account management for our executive Individual Disability GSI clients and distribution partners. You’ll complete annual reviews, assist with design consultation, and spearhead additions to the plan, policy increases and adjustments.

Here are a few examples of the kinds of things you'll do:
  • Review and work with census files to determine eligibility and changes in benefits.
  • Serve as a single point of contact to sales teams, producers and customers for questions on ongoing individual disability plan administration and plan design.
  • Work to negotiate solutions to meet customer needs by working with internal teams.
  • Maintain complete and accurate policy/participant records and program files.
  • Build strong product knowledge and develop strong working knowledge of GSI individual disability plans, business marketing strategies, and illustration systems.
  • Be a team player and interact well in a team environment.
  • Perform other job-related duties and special projects as the need arises.
Who You Are:
  • College degree or equivalent plus 6+ years related work experience.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Solid understanding of sales and marketing, individual policy provisions and administration.
  • Knowledge of group and or individual disability plans are a plus but not required.
  • Maintain accuracy while being detail oriented.
  • Ability to balance working independently with working in a team environment to meet customer and advisor needs and achieve overall goals.
Salary Range Information: Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salary Range: $51000 - $98400 / year Time Off Program: Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided. Additional Information:

Work Environments

This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements (only if residing more than 30 miles from Des Moines, IA, or Charlotte, NC).
