As a Regulatory Compliance Specialist, you will partner with Operations and Maintenance Leaders to manage the compliance requirements for pipeline and electrical cogeneration facility safety regulations. In this role, you will be work directly with state and federal agencies to coordinate and lead external regulatory audits, conduct research to understand new and existing regulations, manage the region’s regulatory permits and reports, and build organizational fluency in PHMSA, NERC, and CEC regulations to assure best-in-class compliance.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of proven expertise in 49 CFR 190-199 pipeline safety codes, rules, and standards. This includes leading state and federal pipeline safety audits and inspections, developing audit corrective action plans and written responses to external agencies, and filing state and federal reports and permits.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively plan, schedule and execute work.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams of up to 20 members remotely and in person.
- Demonstrated ability to read, edit, compose, and modify regulatory documents in an efficient, effective manner.
- Proficient at managing engagements with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills.
- Experience communicating to all levels of an organization, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Fluent in the use of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's (B.S.) degree from an accredited university is preferred; Experience will be considered in lieu of degree
- Experience in NERC and CEC regulatory requirements governing power plant operations and maintenance.
Travel: Up to 20% travel within the U.S.
Relocation Options: Relocation will not be considered

Please note that the compensation and benefits listed below are only applicable to successful candidates who are hired onto local United States payroll.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $114,500 – $196,400.
