HSE Coordinator
This position will work alongside the operations team in the field West Texas to ensure Baywater’s safety standards and core values are adhered to by promoting a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
This position with have a role assisting HR with the new hire process and onboarding orientation process.
Responsibilities
· Assure compliance with DOT / pipeline safety regulations, provide support when new rules or regulations come into effect.
· Lead in incident reporting and investigations, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA) by investigating accidents to identify causes to determine how such accidents might be prevented in the future.
· Facilitate and conduct Safety Meetings, JSA's and Site-Specific Training
· Evaluate working conditions and recommend improvements in safety and health methods, practices, and procedures by spending time in the field with crews.
· Conduct formal and informal audits of worksites and compliance related programs and procedures.
· Leader of Baywater's Behavior Based Safety program through our BOSS Card program.
· Support Operations in daily activities as needed.
Qualifications
· Working knowledge of applicable industry and PHMSA regulatory codes, especially DOT 49 CFR parts 192 and 195 pipeline regulations
· Must have general knowledge with Microsoft programs such as excel, outlook, and word documents. This is critical for HR functions.
· Must have a positive attitude and be a good team member.
· Must be self-motivated and able to work both collaboratively and independently.
· Valid US Driver’s License.
- Travel is required in the surroundings area on a regular basis between Midland and Jal area. This position will office out of Midland.
- Must be able to pass background check, physical, and drug & alcohol screening.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
