SalaryThere will be an Athletic Director position(s) available at Olentangy High School for the 2024-25 school year. The Athletic Director will direct and supervise the district athletic program and enforce the implementation of the provisions as outlined in the Athletic Handbook.
Qualifications for the position include: Master’s degree or equivalent; appropriate administrative Ohio State Board of Education certification/licensure and extensive experience in athletics. Alternative to the above qualifications as the superintendent and/or board of education may find appropriate.
Required knowledge, skills and abilities: ability to work effectively with others; ability to communicate ideas and directives clearly and effectively both orally and in writing; effective, active listening skills; organizational and problem solving skills; knowledge of maintenance of facilities and outdoor fields; thorough knowledge of OHSAA guidelines; and understanding and patient with staff, parents and students.
