SalaryThe Professional Division of Spherion Mid-Ohio is partnered with an established manufacturing organization in Mansfield, Ohio. We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join their team!
Salary up to $25.90 an hour + bonus is being offered based on skillset and experience.

HR Generalist Responsibilities:
Respond to all human resources-related inquiries.
Knowledge of all federal and state employment law and compliance requirements.
Must have knowledge of FMLA and Leave Administration compliance and requirements.
Ensure all employees are paid accurately and on time by assisting with data entry and serving as a liaison.
Ability to administer benefit programs including medical, dental, vision and COBRA.
Must be able to provide knowledgeable guidance to associates regarding claims and enrollment.
Assist in the recruiting, interview process and hiring selections for potential new associates.
Conduct new employee on-boarding and orientation.
Prepare and maintain employee records/files ensuring accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality of information (new hire paperwork, I-9's, tax forms)
Support leadership with documentation and communication of performance evaluations and feedback.
Must demonstrate discretion and ability to handle and maintain confidential information.
Conduct exit interviews.
HR Generalist Requirements:
Minimum of 3-5+ years of HR experience.
Experience with ADP, Work Force Now, Plex -ERP systems a preferred plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).
Capacity to handle frequent disruptions within the work environment.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload as needed.
Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent written and oral communication required.
