HRIS Analyst - UKG Specialist
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Colorado Rockies Baseball Club is a dynamic and fast-paced sports organization dedicated to excellence both on and off the field. We are seeking a skilled HRIS Analyst with a focus on UKG, who can contribute to the success of our organization by supporting our HR system and building out our Human Capital Analytics capabilities. As the HRIS Analyst - UKG Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our Human Resources Information System (HRIS), with a primary emphasis on UKG.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the ongoing maintenance and optimization of the UKG system and downstream integrations (Pro, Workforce Management, Applicant Tracking, Plan Source, Business Intelligence, Onboarding etc.).
- Create custom reports for organizational projects to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Configure and customize UKG modules to align with the organization's unique HR and payroll requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
- Continuously assess and improve HRIS processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide training and support to end-users, HR and payroll teams to maximize the utilization of UKG features.
- Support the development and implementation of DEI initiatives and programs within the HRIS, such as diversity dashboards, employee surveys, and talent analytics.
- Collaborate with HR and other stakeholders to identify and address DEI data needs and gaps, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any integration issues to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Generate and analyze business intelligence dashboards to support data-driven decision-making in UKG Business Intelligence and Qualtrics.
- Work closely with HR and management to identify key metrics and deliver actionable insights.
- Work with Information Security to ensure compliance with data protection regulations and maintain the security of HRIS data.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and proactively implement security measures.
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT, and other relevant departments to understand their needs and align HRIS solutions accordingly.
- Submit required information for MLB reporting.
- Act as a point of contact for system-related inquiries and issue resolution.
OTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
You may be asked to assist in other projects and duties as time allows.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with other HR and Payroll systems, such as UKG, Qualtrics and Sage, and possess a deep understanding of HR processes within a complex organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Relevant certifications in HRIS or related systems (e.g., UKG certification) is a plus.
- Proven experience as an HRIS Analyst with a focus on UKG.
- In-depth knowledge of HR processes, payroll, and compliance.
- Experience with other HR and Payroll systems such as Sage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Highly adaptable to change.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including flexing communication styles based on your audience.
- Project management experience in system implementations and upgrades is a plus.
- Prior experience with a sports organization is also a plus.
WORKING CONDITIONS/WORK SCHEDULE:
This position sits at Coors Field and is mostly sedentary. The schedule is Monday through Friday for about 40 hours per week or more. There is no expectation of travel although there will be opportunities for travelling for educational purposes.
SALARY RANGE:
- Annual salary range of $90,000 - $110,000. This is a regular status, full-time position eligible for all company benefits including but not limited to Health Insurance (medical, dental, vision), Retirement, and accrued time off (Vacation/ Sick/ Holiday).
