Job Title
HRIS Analyst
As a Workday Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the effective utilization of Workday capabilities across the organization and serve as a technical point of contact for consultation, optimization, configuration, and analytics through the Workday system. You will also support Workday upgrades, support tickets and other technical projects as assigned. This position is responsible for helping to maximize Workday's capability by delivering visual, dynamic, and interactive on-demand reports and dashboards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
System Support & Problem Resolution
- Participate in the ongoing design, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of Workday configuration.
- Work closely with key business partners to understand business processes, goals, and enhancement opportunities.
- Regularly performs system audits to ensure the efficiency of processes and data integrity.
- Provide support for Workday, including researching and resolving Workday problems, unexpected results, or process flaws.
- Analyze errors, utilize resources such as Workday community to drive resolutions and root cause analysis.
- Perform data uploads into Workday as needed (EIB).
- Develop test and project plans for upgrades/new functionality to assigned Domains.
- Actively participate in Workday Community by contributing to content, voting on Brainstorms, etc.
HR Reporting
- Run and distribute scheduled reports and support business requests for ad hoc report generation.
- Develop and maintain HR and other business reporting, analytics and dashboards.
- Ensure dashboard, reporting and embedded analytics supports HR security and access protocols.
- Create and maintain report catalog to enable end users to get needed reports from Workday.
Workday Modules Support
Security:
- Develop and maintain security configurations within the Workday platform.
- Ensure compliance with security best practices and industry standards.
- Investigate and resolve security-related issues and access concerns.
Payroll:
- Lead and participate in the optimization of Workday Payroll modules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve payroll-related issues in collaboration with HR and Finance teams.
Compensation:
- Configure & maintain compensation structures within Workday.
- Support Compensation Team with timely accurate and secure execution of Annual Compensation Review process.
- Provide expertise in configuring and maintaining compensation-related modules.
Benefits:
- Administer and enhance Workday Benefits modules.
- Collaborate with Benefits and HR teams to ensure accurate benefits administration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve benefits-related issues in a timely manner.
Absence:
- Configure and maintain Workday Absence modules.
- Work closely with HR to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of employee absences.
- Provide training and support to end-users on absence-related processes.
Time & Attendance:
- Provide ongoing support of Workday Time & Attendance modules.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to address time and attendance system requirements.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.
Job Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related area.
- Workday certification a plus.
Experience:
- 2 to 4 years of experience with Workday.
- Core HCM experience is a must.
Technical and Functional Skill/Requirements:
- Understanding of object-oriented architecture.
- Demonstrated experience supporting Workday modules, in order of priority:
- Security
- Payroll
- Compensation
- Benefits, Absence
- Time & Attendance
- Knowledge of Workday domains, data structures and reporting functional areas (e.g. within Core HCM, Reporting, Compensation, Talent, Benefits and Payroll).
- Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to consult with stakeholders and identify metrics and interpretation needed in deliverables.
- Ability to educate end users, including the creation of User Guides and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Attention to detail with a knowledge of how Workday functional areas interact and intersect.
- Advanced proficiency with MS Excel & MS PowerPoint (creating graphics, charts).
- Prior experience with data governance, auditing and creating standards/documentation.
- Self-motivated with a focus on driving results and strong sense of accountability.
- Experience supporting a global customer base.

Target Hiring Range
Annual Salary: USD 71,192.00 - USD 93,973.00
