HRIS Administrator
Reports to: Human Resources General Manager
Location: Dalton, GA
Classification: Hourly, non-exempt (12-month contract)
SUMMARY
The Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Administrator will support and maintain the organizations HRIS applications and modules.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct massive data collection and transfer electronic files.
- Provide systematic support through various programming languages.
- Prepare and maintain HR related documentation, statistics, and reports.
- Oversees and maintains optimal function of organization's HRIS, which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules.
- Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.
- Collaborates with executive leadership and HR staff to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions.
- Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.
- Programs custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports.
- Compiles or assists with the acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs for senior executives and HR staff.
- Serves as lead representative and liaison between HR, information services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS design and implementation projects.
- Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
- Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.
- Performs other duties as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, HTML, Python, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of HRIS business process configurations
- Ability to build and modify custom HCM reports and calculated fields
- Knowledge of creating, loading, and troubleshooting EIBs
- Familiarity with Human Resources policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals
- Ability to keep information confidential
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product
- Appropriately handles sensitive matters and maintains confidentiality
- Works well in a demanding and fast-paced environment, both independently as well as effectively within a team
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Able to stand and walk the production area throughout the workday
- Reaching, pushing, pulling, or lifting as required within limits set by Hanwha Q CELLS USA, Inc.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field required
- 2 plus years of related experience preferred.
